Our chess pieces have a lot of history. We come from Industrias del Ajedrez, a chess piece factory founded nearly a hundred years ago in our town of Sant Pere de Torelló (Barcelona). For decades they were leaders in the manufacture of chess pieces with boxwood. We are the continuation of their history and we are very proud of it. We continue to make the models that they manufactured but we have also incorporated new ones. We continue to work with boxwood but we have also incorporated new woods. We continue to turn in their own way but we have also opted for more modern technology. At the moment, we can say that we are the only manufacturers of chess pieces at a European level.
